S1: Filial Piety (Part 2)

Before we continued the second part of “The Buddha’s Teaching On The Difficulty In Repaying The Deep Kindness Of Parents (Filial Piety Sutra)”, the Secondary 1 youths watch a video “Value of Mother”, showing the hidden compassion of a mum for her son.

During the session, the youths shared what they have done or what they can do to repay their parents. We also did a Zoom Poll during the storytelling. Before we concluded the lesson, we watched a second video showing the various struggles a dad go through for her daughter to make her happy.

From this session, the youths learned the importance of filial piety and how we should aspire to repay the deep kindness of their parents.
