S1: Listening: 6 Ideas (Part 2)

After the youths learned to acknowledge the mental afflictions that exist in their minds, we shared with them through a comic strip to let them understand that even though they have the medicine to cure their sufferings, they cannot get well unless they take the medicine as instructed.

To encourage the youths to practise the things that they learned from the Dharma, we played a Bingo game to let them reflect if they have been practising it in their daily lives.

After learning how to rely on the 6 ideas to improve our listening skill, we did a word cloud activity for the youths to share what they have benefited from learning the Dharma. The Secondary 1 youths mentioned topics such as ‘OMAK’, ‘Listening’, ‘Karma’ and ‘Kindness’. We are very happy to know that majority of them have benefited. We ended the session with the OMAK parking lot. May we continue to show our care and concern to everyone around us.
