S2: What Are Great Leaders Made Up Of? (Part 1)

In today's class, our facilitators engaged our secondary 2 students in a valuable lesson on the qualities of compassion and wisdom-oriented leadership. To illustrate this, we showed the youths two short video clips featuring different coaches and asked them to identify who exhibited compassion and wisdom-oriented leadership. Following this, we delved into the admirable qualities of compassionate and wisdom-oriented leaders, drawing inspiration from icons like Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malala Yousafzai.

By the end of this lesson, our youths not only gained a deeper understanding of what it means to be a compassionate and wisdom-oriented leader but also learned how to recognize these qualities in others. This knowledge will undoubtedly benefit them in their own leadership journeys, helping them become more effective, empathetic, and inspiring leaders.
