Sec 2 to 4: If I were Deaf and Blind
This week the youths experienced a simulation of being deaf and blind through activities such as Charades (guessing the correct sentence through gestures) and drawing based on listening to instructions given.
Afterwhich they watched a video of Helen Keller, a famous deaf and blind American author, disability rights advocate, political activist and lecturer. She had a good teacher, Anne Sullivan, to guide her well in her life, and hence was able to accomplish many achievements in her lifetime.
From this session we hope that the youths learned that it is important to learn from good and wise teachers.
