To explore the topic of 'Standing On The Shoulder of Giants', the Secondary 2 to 4 youths were split up into groups to solve Matchstick puzzles. Different levels of guidance were given to each group - no guidance, written hints, and close guidance by the facilitator. Through this fun activity, the youths had a better understanding that everything they know is most likely taught by someone or learned through watching others.

After the activity, the youths watched a video of a lady showing bad qualities. From the video, the youths were more aware that they not only can learn from someone with many good qualities but can also learn what they should not do from people with bad qualities.

We hope from this session the youths were able to see the importance of learning from good teachers and mentors.
