On our part 2 Omni class lesson on Observe Merit and Appreciate Kindness (OMAK), we shared with the youth on the benefit of OMAK and the drawback on looking at the faults of others. Through breakout room discussions after watching videos on gratitude and kindness, sharing of virtuous acts on padlet and practicing on how to OMAK our parents, we hope that the youth are able to benefit from this session and continue to use OMAK in their daily lives. See you on our next Omni class!

OMNI

Omni was launched in 2020. Its name is derived from the six-syllable mantra, “OM Ma NI Padme Hum,” and signifies one who is omniscient and knows literally everything, just like the Buddha. Adrian, Brian, Chieng Yee, Hiuyan, Liang See, Jasmine, Rachel, Richard and Xiu Jian guide the class, which comprises a group of secondary school students, along on their journey to great wisdom and compassion.
