Vegetarian Dim Sum @ Empress

Empress is the in-house restaurant at the Asian Civilisations Museum. They are not a full vegetarian restaurant but have wide variety of vegan/vegetarian ala carte and dim sum buffet options.

My favourite dish was the Teapot Soup as I have not seen it in other vegetarian restaurants. The idea of serving it in a teapot is smart as it can help to conserve the heat and you do not need to finish it at one shot.

Overall, the food did 惊艳到我 (surprise me in a good way) but if you are a small stomach like me, you may have to come back a few times to finish the entire dim sum menu as the serving can be quite big for some items. Do note that menu items may be a bit pricey. The restaurant also has beautiful ambience with both outdoor and indoor seating options. Situated along the Singapore River, it is definitely a place you can visit for special occasions!
