Sec 1-4: Expand Our Horizons

To encourage our Omni youths to become changemakers, they first witnessed how fireflies can be seen in the dark despite being small-sized, just like how every small action can be important in itself.

Next, they learnt about the issues faced by our Earth's environment. They played Kahoot to test their understanding on the impact of climate change on living beings and our environment. Also, by putting themselves in the shoes of others, they can 'feel' the negative effects of climate change for themselves.

We asked the youths what they can do as individuals to tackle climate change, and they shared their ideas on Padlet. We hope that everyone can play a part, no matter how small, in saving our world.

Adrian, Brian, Chieng Yee, Hiuyan, Liang See, Jasmine, Rachel, Richard and Xiu Jian guide the class, which comprises a group of secondary school students, along on their journey to great wisdom and compassion.
