S2: Recap & Consolidation

This week we went through a recap of what the Sec 2s learned the past year. We explained that we will experience infinite lives, and that there will always be suffering in the cyclic existence such as sickness and death which cannot be resolve by worldly means. Thus, we hope to learn Buddhism which will ultimately lead us to resolve all our sufferings. We went through some Buddhist topics that the youths can practice more easily in their daily lives to gain good karma and avoid accumulating bad karma. With such valuable Buddhist teachings, we need to ensure they remain. Thus, we concluded that we have to learn to be a good leader to be in the best position to effect this. We mentioned some good and bad leaders previously shared, and how Buddha, our Late Master Ri-Chang and Teacher Zhen Ru were able to bring a great impact to the world/society. We hope that through this lesson, students would be able to have an idea of Buddhism and leadership, and be inspired to be a great leader.
